Jedediah Bila is leaving her duties as the weekend anchor co-host of fox & Friends Weekend at Fox News.

In a statement released on Friday, Fox News said that they have amicably and mutually parted ways with Jedediah Bila and wishes her all the best. The naming of the new co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend will be done soon.

In her own statement, 42-year-old Bila, thanked viewers and co-workers.

She said thanks to the Fox News anchors, reporters, producers, and contributors who have been an absolute pleasure to work with within the last few years. She was deeply grateful to the viewers who supported her throughout her journey there and was hopeful that they will join her on her next adventure. She is really excited about what is to come.

A conservative but frequent critic of former President Donald Trump, Bila began her career as an academic dean and teacher at New York City schools.

On Twitter, Jedediah confirmed that she was leaving Fox and friends on May 22. Many were surprised by her decision to leave the show. It does not look like there was, however, any drama involved around her exit.

During Saturday’s shows, co-host of Fox News’s “Outnumbered” Emily Compagno filled in the spot of Bila.

On June 12, Rachel Campos-Duffy will debut alongside co-hosts Will Cain and Pete Hegseth.

The network also said on Monday that Lawrence Jones will take on a new position as an enterprise reporter on the franchise of Fox & Friends. The only Hispanic woman, Rachel Campos- Duffy, will be the first woman to hold a cable news morning program. She will continue to host Moms on Fox nation, who is the mother of nine children. She will also begin to host a podcast from this Friday with her husband for the Fox News Audio. Weekly, the episodes will be available starting June 5.
