In the upscale Ramat Hasharon town north of Tel Aviv, Israel, Crocs shoes, in all colors and sizes, are displayed in a shoe store. Amongst Israelis, trendy shoes are becoming increasingly popular and they are willing to pay about $45 for the colorful, lightweight resin shoes. Last year, Crocs, an American company, sold 6 million pairs of its various designs which is about 4000 times the sale of the company of 1,500 pairs when it was founded in 2002.
“FREE PAIR OF FOR HEALTHCARE” OF CROCS
Crocs launched its new program in March 2020 called “Free Pair for Healthcare” which is offering free Crocs to nurses, doctors, and other health care staff members. Within the last year, Crocs report sales have soared.
Rapper Post Malone partnered with Crocs and Musicians on Call, just a few months ago, to donate thousands of pairs of shoes to staff and caregivers in 70 US hospitals.
More than 860,000 free pairs of shoes were donated by the brand last year on the frontlines of COVID-19.
From today, healthcare workers can request the free shoes starting at noon ET through Friday, May 14. Until the day’s allotment is gone, requests will be accepted.
CEO Andrew Rees said that they were thrilled to bring back their program and celebrate their frontline healthcare heroes who have worked harder than ever before to provide comfort in their communities over the past year.

He said that the last year’s program reinforced for their brand that doing the right thing is the right thing for the brand, and they were honored to be able to take this moment to once again provide their shoes, and this time as a thank you for the incredible work these healthcare individuals do every day.
The brand also said that originally, the “Free Pair for Healthcare” was created in direct response to requests from the fans and healthcare workers seeking out easy to clean, comfortable Crocs shoes designed to be there for the late nights, long hours, and early mornings.
